Finally got all my ducks in a row and fired up my engine. 512, shortblock and cam pick and install by Muscle Motors, Stealth heads, RPm intake, 830 Quickfuel carb. The temp outside finally warmed up enough to open the door and fire this bad boy up. C'mon Spring!

Very nice. They look like the 2" TTI headers I use ? Whats the plans for it. Street car , pump gas ? Race car only ? Or street/strip like me ? Sounds and looks great. Ron

Street car, maybe a trip to the strip to get a time slip and booted off(no cage or bar). 1 7/8" headers, it's a lo deck and I think TTI is just starting to make 2" for them.

Your eng looks great. These are my 2" TTI's that I left in the nickle coating and they are fading a bit but we have the same headers on my sons Dart that have been on his car about 15 years and look about like mine so I hope this is the worst they get. I use the dual plane Indy intake that looks alot like the RPM but I believe it has bigger ports. Your combo should run strong. Is it an auto and if so what converter ? I use a Dynamic 9.5 street/strip converter and it works nice as it drives great on the street and works good at the track. What gear you running. Sorry about the questions but I like your combo and am just curious about it as it sounds like you plan to do the same as I do with mine. Thanks , Ron

Ron they will change color more and might start to rust some.Mine have been on at least close to 20 years.Mine were the first sets of CPPAs.I do believe they improved the nickle coating though.I painted mine down by the collectots to fight the rust that started. They are still as solid as the day I installed them though.Rocky

Ron the trans was built by Pat @ SMR in Ontario, full reverse manual with a 3500 stall by him also. I gave him the specs for the build and cam and he built the converter to match, he says it will drive like a stock converter but flash when I hit it. 3.55's in an 8 3/4 for now until I can afford a Dana. Hopefully the nickle coating holds up, it won't see any inclement weather so it should be ok. Similar combo and use as your 63. Pretty much going after the mid 60's super stock/ street brawler look.
