What's the slowest time allowed . Too old to hang out in the young gun car show side of things. Might as well head that way. My stroker build is going nowhere quick, so I'll still be on my old driveline.

last time out I was at 14.5@92mph or somewhere around that.

That's plenty fast for this fun race
My first 100 MPH pass was at the Nats back in '92 and I had a blast with my old beater 440 and worn out 23 spline box
The only rules are to have fun and pull some gears

I don't think there is a max time. This is the result from 2010
Passon Performance Stick Shift Class
W: Tyler Anderson ('91 Daytona) – 16.75, 83.17
R/U: Scott Bourrell, ('64 330) – 9.588, 142.09

Scott made up for the r/u the next year though

One of the great things about stick racing, there are so many variables that everyone has a shot

So, you're good to go

That's so true. Another way of putting it: "It ain't over til it's over. As a driver, there is plenty to do and consider in a quarter mile.

No special rules, just has to be a stick.

Also must conform to the tracks/NHRA safety stuff for the ET that it runs.

Well it passes tech at gateway Motorsports park in St. Louis. Stock seat belts ok? Or if you could direct me to the resource which will tell me all of that. Much appreciated!

Helmet 13.99 and quicker.
Roll bar 11.49 and quicker.
If car requires a roll bar then seat belts meeting 16.1, or 13.49 and quicker if a convertible.

Your factory belts are fine, just make sure they're in good order.

If you need, just type NHRA safety rules into Google and they'll be two good resources right at top.

Being consistent is almost like cheating with a stick car.........

Weather is looking great. Don't forget to thank the Brewers while you guys are there. They've been great!

Good luck to all!

If your racing stick be sure to find me for a shirt. I'll have a couple from last year for sale.

Also
$100 if there's a factory trans 4/5/6 spd car in the finals, win or lose

And best RT in the first rd of elims will get a case of VR1.

Where's the pocket?

One of these years I'm going to race in this event. But I'm old and practicle, so I need a pocket on my T shirt.

Congrats to Greg for taking home the cash and the coolest trophy you'll ever find. Even if it was as the expense of putting 6bblFLASH on the trailer a round earlier than normal.

And a huge "thank you" to Andre for setting this class up and for BSing with us little street car guys. It was a blast, as usual.

Hope you see you all again in 2015.

Thank you all for coming
The high count was 26 this year but as always there's some breakage. Like last year a Jerico vs an 833 in the final. A nice day of racing with a lot of people watching and commenting on the cars.

Congrats to Greg and Mike on their success
W: Greg Lorsbach ('68 Barracuda) - 10.169, 131.29 (10.15 dial).
R/U: Mike Brewer ('68 GTX) - 11.659, 110.18 (11.80 dial).

Greg took home $1000 for the win, $500 gift card to Bewers Performance, and a case of oil for the best rt.

Mike took home $400 for r/u, $100 cash for having a factory trans and a $250 gift card to Brewers (no relation).

Again it was a pleasure to race with everyone again. As always we'll try to do it again next year so get your buddies and see if we can bump up our numbers again.

Thank you
