Anyone know what year they switched from the square metal nuts to the plastic nuts on the back of license plates? On my 65 Plymouth the plate bracket shows signs of having had something other than the plastic nuts on it, but not sure if it originally came with metal or not. Had plastic on it when I got the car in 84, but anything could have happened in the 19 years before I got it.

My 64 Plymouth had plastic nuts and it was original, so 65 should be he same.

Excellent, they are much easier to get. Thank you very much.
