Ok, So I got this car and my dart. This car weighs 2340 with 260 lb driver and a steel block. It had a 540 chevy, but I am going with my engine combo.

See the headers? should I do the same? It will cost me an extra grand to have someone make me something different. No big tech tracks around here, but just looks to ( loss for words here) yuky and un neccessary. My engine is a B1 bb with 2 3/8 tubes. The chevy was in it before I got it. Just weekend racing at 3 or 4 local tracks.

Give me some ideas and input if you would please.
Its all a funnel for money anyways

Very nice looking car. An updated set of wheels would really finish it off.

a set of headers that exit through the side of the fenders shouldn't be that hard.just tack them together and get someone to weld them if you can't.

It would depend on what type of racing you want to do. Heads up, bracket, or index

Some AL tracks

Yeah Chris, It's a my stealth. I have lots of updates to do to it, rims are on the list along with new skins.

I was also thinking fender exit for the headers as well. Most probably going to end up doing that. I got the those headers with the car, dont want to toss them tho. I was think of putting 33x15x15 slicks back on it. Still at a cross road on an aluminum 572 or 540 with a set of B1's on it. I can go the 572 alot quicker if I can unload this new Indy -1 345 top end set up on somebody. The complete body on this car weighs in under 180 lbs. the chassis was around 300 lbs plus add on a 9 inch, 4 link, coil overs and the rack with all the other little items and I ended up with a very light combo.

The only thing I will be able to do as far as racing is weekend local sat nite run for the money is all. I work out of the state and country a lot, and when I come home, I get 1 maybe 2 weekends to race. That's if the rain holds back.

I wonder why someone built a nice car like that and used 4 bolt hubs in the front. My Duster used a old Ford Capri set-up like that and plug welded the holes closed and redrilled it for 5 bolt 4 inch Mopar pattern. There wasn't enough meat to go 4 1/2 inch pattern so I could update my Centerlines so it just cost me a lot of money for new struts, brakes, hubs, and soon new wheels.

That's good, I did some body repair and a repaint on Joe Chrisman's old promod stealth after he bumped wall at StLouis I believe it was. Made from same molds as yours I am sure, never seen another one so that's why I asked. Had a blown alky hemi in it and same setup for zoomies in front of rockers and notched out windshield like yours. He sold it soon after he got it back out of my shop, that was many years ago.

The guy I bought the car off of told me there was either 3 or 5 of these bodies made and he drove North East from Alabama to pick up the only one they had left. He did tell me they were built for a pro Mod. I will ask him more in a bit. He gets off work at 530.
