Big Bad Bee OP I Live Here Joined: Dec 2003 Posts: 10,938 Spokane Valley, WA	My 70 Bee has had the trunk floor removed and there's no gas tank vent tube. Is this the tube that loops in and out of the trunk floor? where does it route and where does it end? I'm curious if there is an accepted optional way of running the vent. My car has a new trunk floor with no holes in it. Pictures are appreciated. I’m listening.

471Magnum master Joined: Jan 2003 Posts: 3,719 Space Station #5	Two different systems in 70. One for CA and one for 49 states. CA has a different tank with vents at the corners, and vapor separator mounted in the trunk, which in turn vented to the PCV system. And a bunch more hard lines and hoses connecting everything. 49 state vented direct to atmosphere. Unfortunately, I don't have a diagram handy of either that would answer your question. I'd need to find my 70 FSM and scan that page. I'm sure someone else can beat me to posting it. -Jim I can fix it... my old man is a television repairman. He's got the ultimate set of tools... ahy master A Joined: Jan 2007 Posts: 7,664 IN	The factory vent systems worked. Other solutions like vented caps not so much. Suggest you put the vent system back to original. I believe inline tubes sells the vent tubes.
