If I was to use stock springs with say the Comp XE268, what problems might I run into? I know I will loose power and valve float will come in sooner, but how much am I really going to loose in the heart of the powerband?
Am I risking anything dangerous.
Now I need to pin those needles, got to feel that heat Hear my motor screamin while I'm tearin up the street

the recommended comp 901's for that cam are less than $70, and can use the stock retainers (as long as you replace the rotator retainers on the exhaust valves--of so equipped-- with standard ones)
