My 1970 Challenger has the wiring for the delay option but no relay. I have been looking around for one and I see some on ebay that are for other models (A-body, etc). I know from pictures that the mounting tabs are different but would they still function correctly?

Thanks,

Michael

Yes the relay case and internal parts are the same... It's the mounting tabs that make the difference...If you don't find an E body unit the C body relay is the closest with it's mounting tabs...

I've been linking this old thread alot lately but here's a thread that will answer alot of your questions... Don't forget to check and make sure your factory diode is still in place if you use the delay relay... LINK

I find using the part numbers sometimes helps when searching ebay etc.
Here are the various 1970 ones;

E body - #2947392
A body - #2947393
B body - #2947394
C body - #2947395

For the B body ones, there are some NOS for sale by the case of 24!

Thanks everyone for the information. I'll pick one up sometime this winter.
