looking around and all the blocks ive seen are very high ...whats the best way to go to run a remote water pump...any pics of the motor tapped and using the an fitting as was talked about in another thread....im trying to clean up everything and fit things close in the bay ..I could run a electric pump but I want to pull all the stuff in close as my motor is filled to the water pump holes and will be running alky...any ideas or pics would be a great help..on a mission to fire this thing before race season start in march

Post a pic of what you have now(engine bay area) so
we get a idea of where things can go... hopefully with
the engine in it... but you want the pump on the
lower side (outlet) of the radiator so it has water
to it at all times

here it is mr.p I have a aluminum radiator that goes in it as well with a electric fan mounted on it and will have my fuel cell in front of that as well as putting the bar to protect the fuel cell and maybe a smaller cell for the nos....that's the reason I would like to run a remote pump so I can mount it out the way and get things pretty close up front... I have a aluminum pump housing with spacers but its just to far out for my likings...I see some blocks made for this but man 200/300 hundred for the blocs then gotta buy the an fitting that's just a little crazy I think...so looking at other possibilities ...if the spacers I have was just a little thicker I would just tap them and put an fitting in them and go from there but they are on about 1/4 think.. i know this is racing and stuff cost but wow

Use adapter blocks on the engine and the just hook up the hoses. Need to weld bungs on the radiator for the top hoses.

If you want to save money then use tube fittings and run 1 inch heater hose. The heater hose is dirt cheap and will work just fine. It doesn't look as trick as the AN stuff, but it will work just as well. The tube fittings are fairly inexpensive also.

The simplest way is to go with the spacer Andy shows
then a Y fitting at the pump OUTLET then the 2 hoses
to the lower ports on the spacers(unless you want
to run reverse flow then go into the top fittings)
and the returns back to the radiator(you can run 2
hoses back to the radiator or Y them to a single larger
hose(AN type)... this way you can have the pump mounte
off to the side and out of the way... lots of choices
