We would have saved the top that was on the car but the slider material color didn't match so I removed the top and installed a complete new top.
My top was on for about 5 years and had lost some of the color.
We have had the slider in and test run it, so I can't wait until the corrected slider material arrives to finish it up.
Might be a little cold out for open roof right now.

We have a bingo!
Got the slider panel material ,some adjustment and it works.
I need to get some more top seal lacing for the rear of the panel yet.
Finish up the power window wiring and wait for spring!

That's really cool, and it just gave your car a lot more cool factor.
I plan on making a triple black challenger t/a clone with a factory sunroof. I've got a factory challenger sunroof set up for it already.

Sounds like a cool project.

I have been wanting to do this since I started the car 5 years ago ,just couldn't find the right deal on the top. Either it was on a car I wouldn't part out or the top was incomplete.
Parts for these are difficult to get.

I got lucky on this one as it was complete minus the switch and the drive shaft was bad.

Everything else was near perfect mechanically.
The switches are available and I made the drive shaft my self.
