Frankly, I think street racing is a horrible sub-culture of our sport, and you'd never catch me doing it. I really don't understand why they don't just take it to the track (???).
With that said, It is fast drag race oriented cars.... So I'll watch.

Watch the vid that's been posted of their last trip to the track. Little Miss #10 didn't fare so well. Besides, the 405 is THE fastest street raced cars by their rules in the country. It's been fun to watch Daddy Dave spinning around on Yellowbullet about why him getting cleaned in Chicago doesn't count. He spins faster than James Carville trying to explain what Bill Clinton was doing with Monica Lewinsky.

He's not spinning anything as he said he lost after spinning the tires about 150' out many times and hardly call that getting your clock cleaned as it wasn't even a race(like John Force blowing his tire off one race then winning the next-can happen to anyone)
What's really funny is what they brought out to race Dave and how they prepped the street
Gutted chassis car ! Blown alky engine w/zoomies ! No headlights or provisions for some ! No cooling system/had to be towed back after pass !
Track prepping the street/brought out a van with a spayer & drag Sprayed vht & dragged their side of the road 3 times the full lenght! And yes Dave prepped his side with his hand held for about 100'!
If you chicago guys think that's the way you do it then keep rubbing your nuts
but... but... but I thot there was no rules in "street racing" it all goes down based on how you negotiate...
So wheres the beef?

There really is no beef that I know of. They went to Chicago and played by the Chicago rules, although they(OKC boys) were somewhat misled about the street prep, plus it was drizzling rain. Dave knocked the tires off and got beat, which he acknowledged. So Dave got beat, did he get "drug" or the "gap band played"...not really, he knocked the tires off. The other things are usually referenced when both cars "make the trip", which they did NOT...........so, what does it mean, NOTHING. The Sonoma lost a race, which it has plenty of times. As for the "stips" put on the race, I don't know, wasn't there. All I was told is that they argued about it for hours and the OKC guys finally just said "whatever lets go" as the bad weather was coming in and the film crew was pressing, as they had to shoot something.
Are there "faster" street racers than the OKC boys in this world, of course there are. There is ALWAYS somebody faster somewhere on any given day..........BUT.......the point is, at this time, NOBODY has come into OKC and raced the way THEY do(on a totally unprepped surface) and beat their top guys.

Not trying to argue at all.. simply because I know nothing about it.... but the rumormill says they had a day to "prep" the road for the California filming... and the Cali boys were not allowed to make any test hits...
Is there truth to that? Did the OKC boys race on a prep'd street that day?

If you watch the youtube video that was posted it clearly shows that the OKC boys agreed to a lane swap and still outran the Cali guys so both lanes were apparently prepped the same. One of their fast guys in the yellow vega hooked so good he almost stood his car straight up! Problem was he came down with one tire in the dirt and had to lift while the OKC car was going A to B.

I know it is illegal as hell, but I love to watch it. One thing I wish they highlighted more was the hustle aspect...
Also will chief's Poncho make an appearance this year?

But, but, Dave took the crown when Shawn broke. I guess that don't count either. Dave then refused to race Doc, even though he claims he'll race anywhere, anytime.
Tina pulled a hustle on Farmtruck and that's OK, but Tuff hustled Dave and it's crap?

When OKC beat Texas because they knocked the tires off OKC jumped for joy, but when Brian beats Dave's truck because it spun it shouldn't count as a win? I love their logic on that one LMAO!!! Or when Joey offered Chuck action the next morning for any money with or without cameras and a shut down road it was suddenly mandatory to head home. . .
I'm looking forward to the rematch. A friend of mine built the chassis in the TuffEnuff car, it may be in OKC come spring, hopefully TurboGT will be there along with a few others. All these cars are fast but I don't see the OKC cars having much over the Northern Assassins, Donya can run a big tire, THAT would be very very interesting IMO
Folks just YouTube the names you don't know.

Who has said that it wasn't a win for Tuff? Nobody has disputed that fact not even Dave. What everyone is disputing is them saying Tuff drug him down the track and blew him away when it was just a win by default because Dave blew the tires off. He even turned his truck around at half track and didn't go to the finish line. A rental car would have beat Dave in that race lol. If I were Tuff I wouldn't want to brag about that race at all that's all I'm saying. It's kind of like winning a bracket race when the other guy red lights...yes you won the race but no you didn't earn it.
I've won plenty of rounds by the other guy red lighting and yes I did earn the win...

I have been on both sides of that one. A multi time track champ said to me "damn you always seem to go double 0 against me" I said "Dave you are too good to give a chance to" It's respect, you earn those redlights. IMHO. Don
