pulled engine decided to freshen it up. what grit for ball type hone to take shine off cylinder walls? thanks Bradley

I use a 160 but they load up pretty quick even with oil
(I'm pretty sure its a 160)

Just went thru this.

Call mfg. for grit recommendation. Summit has different selections than listed. They suggested the 240 grit for just honing the cylinders for new rings. Was easy but messy. Make sure you stay away from your wife's stuff while honing or you will get in trouble!!! Don't ask me how I know!

the grit I used
