I have bought a couple of BBC header kits(the tubes were to small in the big block Mopar kits) and welded them to Mopar flanges. But now if they were already welded up,I would think that would be almost impossible.

THX MrMop .... do you have any end tube width specs ? ....and obviously the center tubes would have to be brought together ....

HERE is a pic of said headers ....

....and to the cheezyBURGHERguy .... I have been out of the newer tech 'glass work .. iNform me of what resin would work with this metal modification ....

wanted bbm 180 cross over, cause it sets so low. when they got here they were bbc.
said that was what i ordered, would only take in store credit.
so i cut the chevy flanges off, sent the flanges back.

I bought a BBC Hooker weld-up kit, mine come in a un-welded kit.I bought the flanges from Indy.It would be hard to bring the 2 middle pipes in on a set already welded. But when you cut the flange off you could cut the 2 middle pipes(I would cut them in the radius(bend) and weld them to the flange and get the local muffler shop to bend you 2 pieces to connect the pipes back together. These are one pair that I welded up from a BBC kit.

That's the route I'm going with the dart. I got a couple sets of bbc headers to cut apart to fab up mine. Figure you could a friend who has a welder a couple bucks to fab up for you.

We have done a few BB Chevy to hemi conversions which is very easy since the alignment is fairly close.Changing the Chevy to wedge is a little more difficult.you must cut back the center two tubes and re-contour them to the wedge alignment. To do this you should have some fabricating and tig welding skills as well as a set of proper flanges.

There are 2 inch small block chev kits that work. I don't know if anyone offers anything bigger for the SBC.

I got my flanges from Schoenfeld, dirt track header builders. I have converted SBC>BBC. Just need a little heat and a port-o-power. Bring'em up, I will do them for you DoC.

Indy,Hedman,Hooker to name a few.Check with Summit and Jegs for brands available.BB Chevy and hemi are similar with position and alignment of all the exhaust ports in a row, where as the BB Mopar is similar to the small block Chevy with a spread between the first and last exhaust port and the middle two exhaust ports because of the wedge valve alignment Ex,int, int,ex,ex,int, int ex
