What's the Best media blast for removing powder coating? Black powder coating been on around 2 years on my seat tracks. Looking to paint afterwards.

80% of abrasive blasting I do for customers is with 50-100 grit glass. nice clean white surface with very little substrate removal. ( 1.5+ mil profile )

I have found it depends on the prep. my blasting competition here locally has a powder coating business and I have no problem removing his stuff because of poor prep.

usually I don't notice much difference between powder and paint.

scratch it and see how hard it is
