I hear certain year a-body front sway bar links will work w/this rear sway bar???

A-body front links are the same as the E-body rear links. The ones in your picture will work just fine. It depends on if you want it to look stock or not.

E body rears use the same link kit as 1969 and older B or A body fronts

FWIW on my rear bar with that style link I had to "tune" the length of the links to clear both the the pumpkin and exhaust. The tie bolts were extra long and I used 1/8" thick small diameter shim washers to put the hoop on the bar where it needed to be. Works like a charm.

Does it matter if the washers are centered on the bushing?
Mine are sort of off center and look weird.
Any particular torque on them maybe they are too tight.
