I don't know exactly how it goes on however the parts book lists the following to attach it (per side);

4 #6003269 retainers
4 #6024271 screws
8 #6002460 clips

Hope this is a little help.

P.S. I have been following the threads about your car. I am a '70-71 Swinger fan myself. Your car is looking great!

still hunting for these clips/fasteners ... anyone have any suggestions who may sell them? I'd like to black out my rockers and get the trim installed.

On my Swinger, it was a wire clip similar to the clips used for the door panels. Only instead of a loop to slide into cardboard, the end was more square and slid into the track on the backside of the trim.

there are two different style clips .. the metal ones that go the length of the trim, and flat metal ones that go at each end so it can be screwed into place..

trying to find these stupid clips is impossible
RT specialties has the wire ones but not the plastic ones ... how is it that these things are so impossible to find?

yeah.. the end ones .. the flat black one... those are the ones that are impossible to find. I found the wire ones at RT specialties.. the fun part is waiting days for him to respond to my emails... GGRRR... but he doesn't have the flat ones.. neither does anyone else.

Nothing in the Auveco catalog that's 'close enough'???

Maybe not identical to OEM, but would still work???
