Just purchased the 360 &727 trans that came from a camper setup (Tioga F40)
Would anyone know the engine specs? Cam specs?
Recommendations for rebuilding first the top end and then the rest
for later as $$ permits
Already have headers for application
Other ideas? Will be installing in my 37 pickup

If you can, check the newest Mopar Muscle. I just got mine today so it should be at news stands soon. I used a 77 tv 360 as a base for an article in it. Tested three Comp Cams camshafts aimed at 1800 to 5800 rpm. May help give you some ideas.
I have done a lot of other dyno testing with this engine.

If it has an OE iron 4bbl intake/thermoquad, that intake flows very well & the TQ would be OK if rebuilt correctly & probably jetted a bit richer tho an earlier TQ would be better for performance. Dial in the dist subsystems, initial/total(35)/springs/vac adv in order. If going with an aluminum intake I'd suggest a dual plane with a spreadbore flange for a TQ but with a pickup you'd likely have room for a spreadbore adapter on a square bore intake if going with a spreadbore TQ or go with a 1406 Eddy 600 cfm carb (which is a square bore) on a square bore intake or use the thin flat adapter to run it on a spreadbore intake. #1 As said a CORRECT cam to build some torque as the SCR is very likely in the high 7's right now & a good double roller timing chain set. #2 dial in the dist spot on

Nothing that a cheap Comp 260-268 won't fixBy the way with as low comp as that engine is forget the 35 total and push it for all it got . My ex ;lean burn e 58 likes 46 degree total at 2000 The truck engine if it is a non lean burn will still take 42-44 total no vac
