have any of you used or know someone who has used TTI B body big block headers on a 2wd truck?

The part # is TTI-178C5

I want to do a low deck 500 with Edelbrock heads in my 85 SWB

That's what I was thinking but would hate to lay down the $$$ & them not fit. I don't mind moving tubes but these are ceramic coated

A member has them & they won't fit his combo & I thought that I may could help him to the ones he needs & have a nice set to hang on the wall till I need them

It's either that or buy another RC or truck for parts

Not sure on B-body tti's? But im putting 2" A-body tti's on my 79 stepside. I'm working on putting a 440 in a buddy's truck and did a trial fit. Pass side fit like it was made for it. Driver side will require a little work. I will have to move proportioning valve rearward some and do a little grinding on the top of the frame rail. Then im sure it will go in.

I hear ya,right in the middle of the 5 cab replacment and 5 speed swap, the mini starter will not bolt up with the (72-88 SB 2x) 79080 hedman headers/92-93 NV4500 hydro bell.

looking at pics the of the(75-93 sb 2x & 4x4)hedman headers, they seem to be exactly what i had on the 85 truck when i got it.

I orderd up a set rolling the dice if they will look like what the advertising pic looks like.

my BB hedman headers look like they will fit well...one day. till then wall art.

I want to say, member redram had tti b-body headers and only had to notch the upper frame rail a tad to fit a couple of the tubes.

and here i thought they were all the same and i can JUST bolt a 5 speed right in my truck no problem...yea right! JUST bolt in in you say...

come on Bob, roll the dice ... 'JUST' to 'SEE' 'IF' they 'FIT'

never know till you spend some dough!

I've got to thinking I probably need 2" instead of 1 7/8"

I got a message about another Canyon Sport for sale cheap anyway & I like doing Mag conversions you know
This one is 2WD & will make my 84 SWB Mag/518 along with the correct driveshaft for my 84 RC & a bunch of other parts I need

If they dont fit, they would make a great Secret Santa gift to someone that could use them....
