Our track photographer took some GREAT action shots as usual last Saturday. Guy did a very good job of getting her stopped.

was that guy running ~6.99 in the 1/8th? If so, that is a nice car. Saw him when I was there a couple weeks ago.

Not really sure what he runs. Jennifer posted these on Facebook today. She takes some really nice pictures.

Typical GM 12 bolt probably without the "C" clip eliminators. I've seen this happen many a time back in the '80's. Hopefully for the owner didn't do to much damage.

Scary, I broke all studs on the rear right side years ago and lost a slick right on there starting line, it bent up the quarter pretty good , I almost cried luckily a bodyman that was racing saw it and said " don`t worry about it I can fix it " He did , and I also pulled the axles out and sent them to Mark Williams and had 5/8 studs installed, haven`t had a problem since and I check the torque on them regularly.

My wife got video of the wheel studs breaking and flying off my cousins Chevelle car just lifted the wheels at Pittsburgh and away the studs and lugs flew Moroso studs just ended up tearing up the wheel and tire. He drove it home after a racer donated some studs so he could put his street tires back on the car

I'll never forget a Friend of mine had his 1970 chevy at the track right after it came out of the body shop. Beautiful street car and on its first trip down the track one of the fan blades came off and went up thru the hood.

I think this is a 12.teens car, in that area, which would be 7.60s or so in the 1/8th. It is a nice car, very clean. There is another '70 Chevelle, all red, SS, no vinyl top, that I think might be in that 6.99/high 10s range.

I wish the whole video was there but that tire hit the 1/4 in the same spot 3 times. only place on the truck that got banged up. and it was the first time he tried the right lane. alot luck on that ride
