I have a factory AM/FM/Cassette radio for my pickup (I think it's stock for LRE's). Just need a little help as to what wires go where (or if someone has a diagram, could you post it?). The power plug: I know the orange wire goes to the lighting. The red is power. I'm guessing the case grounds the unit.
In the speaker wiring plug: I have a yellow wire, and a white wire in one row (side by side). A violet wire, and green wire in the next row, and one black wire (ground?). But here's where I'm in need of some help. All by it's self is a yellow W/black stripe wire (the one sticking up in the pic). What's this for?
Here's a pic.
Thank you in advance!

Thank you for that info. I saved it to my files.
One thing I'm not sure of, is why they would have a wire going to the tail lamps from a radio? In the diagrams, it shows different radios than I have (one with a CB, or 8tack. Mine has a cassette deck), but still have the yellow/blk stripe wire. I guess it goes to the same place as the ones in the diagrams. So, I guess the concept is the same. Still, I am a bit stumped.

I would install it without hooking up the yellow wire and see what you get. From the diagram all you would be missing is possibly the light. Because that's the only thing that the tail light circuit would have to do with that wiring. Not all the wires on a radio need to be hooked up for it to work. If the radio has a model number on it then do an online search for wiring for it.

I'm thinking the yellow with a black tracer might be the power for a power antenna? Gene
