I have taken the plunge and have decided to drop a Hemi into my 69 Road Runner. I took a chance and bought a package an I am happy with everything but one. The block. The block has had the mounting bosses and the rest of the outside all ground down. The person I bought it from indicated it was to save weight. I also think it had a rod let loose as it looks like it may have had a repair done. I'll know more when I get it out of the crate. So my question is this: is there a replacement block I can purchase that I can swap the rotating assembly into? The block was an original 1969 block, but now has a Ohio Crank, after market rods and pistons. Is there a Mopar Performance block that will work and what part number should I be looking for.

Any thoughts?

Yup: Just order a replacement block from MP or a World dealer although I believe they're out of stock right now. This is why I always tell people to forget the original cast iron stuff, it's always used up, cracked, broken, oversize racer junk.
