Are the rear window moldings on a 70 Cuda screwed on, or were there welded studs on the window channel for the clips to snap in?

There are 2 metal "spacers" in the bottom of the rear window channel for the glass to sit on so that the glass is properly set into place. Are those spacers available to buy (aftermarket or dealer)? Also, I need to see pictures of those spacers.

Thank you.

The edge molding is held on with I think two clips, that push into holes on the top of the quarter. Im not sure what u mean on the down stops the window follows the track to the bottom.

The clips that hold the moulding on are screwed on for '70. I believe the "studs" to hold the clips in place started in '71.

I would like to see those clips installed myself.

my mistake I thought he was asking about the quarter glass. Yes rear window molding held on with screw on clips.

Those are not clips that hold the molding on those are simply to help line up the glass when it is installed and are completely unnecessary.

Sure are handy if you're using urethane. Not so much with the butyl though as the butyl kit usually comes with setting blocks.
