Any chance you are missing a digit? Mopar part#s are usually 7 digit, not 6.

My bad, left out a digit. It should read 3733339. While i have your attention how about part numbers 3403884 and 3403885? I do have a Mopar dash trim piece with a five digit number made in your country, part # 71276. Any help with those would be appreciated.

No, newer Mopar parts have 7 digits, or more. Older ones have 6 or less. Smaller the number the older the part is. Look at the part number for a crankshaft pilot bushing. Hint, it was originally used in the flathead 6's.

Five digit numbers are usually the vender code, the ID for the vendor that made the part for Chrysler.

I reiterate, the older the part, the smaller the part number. Not all Chrysler part numbers are 7 digits. 855646 for example, gas tank strap retaining nuts.

I was responding to this;

Lots of parts have five digit codes, but they are not all parts numbers.

I was not trying to discredit what you said in any way if that is how it looked?

My apologies, sometimes it's the craziest things.

I thought there was a good chance of a missing digit.

A Google search of 3733339 shows it as a rad shroud for early 90's trucks. Note; Adding "mopar" or "chrysler" to a Google part# search greatly helps by reducing the hits with phone numbers, patent numbers etc. Newest parts book I have is 1974 so I did not go any further.

https://www.google.ca/#q=3733339+mopar

Same type of search using #3403884/5 shows it was for 1970 model so checked my parts book for specifics. They are RH/LH rear "taillamp housing covers" for '70 Coronets except station wagons.

As already mentioned by Barry, the 5 digit# is probably not a part#.
