dodgefarmer OP super stock D Joined: Jan 2003 Posts: 1,072 The Sunny Shuswap	I' m changing out a front axle on my 95 ram 1500. Does any one have a torque spec for the axle nut and the bearing retainer bolts. BTW this is not a job for any one with a short fuse. Thanks Randy

76dodgeboy master Joined: Aug 2006 Posts: 8,064 Iowa	180ft lbs. Do NOT use a 150ft lb torque wrench and think you can just click it a few more times. Broke my torque wrench and almost my nose when my face slammed into the tire.

I need to swap out the U-joints on my '01 in the near future, and I'm certain that I don't have the right socket. I guess I'd better be surveying my friends to see which one has a big torque wrench as well...

Girls comb their hair in rear view mirrors and the boys try to look so hard....

Was an 01 1500 4wd
