Definitely an upgrade from the miniature Early A brakes. 9" drums are for motorcycles....

Mopar to the bone!!!

The front wheels in the pic is the style, not the size I am using ..

These are too wide, wrong offset ..

They are Weld RTS's

Been horrible cold here so, work has progressed a bit slow again for last couple weeks

Should have some updates soon

My 66 Wagon is down at Stephen Duarity's shop now, gonna get it fitted for an 8 3/4 and a brake and suspension upgrade while the 440-W2/904 come together.

I really like these Wagons, they're really nice inside with all the interior detail trim and all the glass, and being a 4 door/wagon they make for a 'quirky cool' fun daily driver you can actually cruise with friends and family with and get some 'honest to goodness' practical use out of.

I've never had a pre 67 A body before, one thing I notice right off they're smaller overall and lighter than the 67-later A bodies. You know it's funny when you see even an occasional Duster or Dart Sport running around in traffic they almost look HUGE compared to most modern cars, especially from the back. Never thought I'd say that because us Mopar guys think of 67-later A's as our Small cars.

Since I bought it I thought about selling it a few times (since the stable is pretty full) but
I think I'd regret it....I really LOVE that AlterKation set-up and mini-tubs that BigDad has, I just wish there was $$$ in the budget for something like that.

Something I'm wondering is why the 63-66 A wagons have a rounder rear wheel-well, if you look at the same year sedans they do not, even though they appear to use the exact same doors. It looks like a 67-later B body rear would work well in the wagons, even with standard OEM 15" dog dish cop wheels, It doesn't appear they would stick out, it might even enhance the sleeper OEM look....but I haven't dug down into the physical dimensions of the swap just yet. The factory width rear looks a little too narrow to me.

I told Stephen and Mike that Mike's 69 Super B was my inspiration for this build, I want another Classic Mopar sleeper that I can drive anywhere and just have fun with.
