Whos got em? I know race cars and power windows don't always go hand in hand, but i want them. Looking for suggestions on a quality and light universal kit to get them done. maybe even street rod kits or something.

mike dechicco (mr aruba) has power windows on his 65 dodge, works good on a hot day where he can open and close pass. window while still belted in.

I've been seriously thinking about putting them in mine. I was just going to use a universal kit that attaches where the window crank handle goes on the manual regulator. I looked at kits awhile back but haven't committed to anything yet and don't really know about the quality of the systems.

I run electric life power windows in the Cuda. The hardware is lighter then stock and I have steel doors and factory windows anyway. Its nice to be able to roll the windows up and down while in the staging lanes.

I bought a set of these for my 31 coupe. They replace the existing window regulators competely and weigh 7 lbs. per door. I haven't used them yet, but i'll report back when I do.

I have them in my Allstate with glass doors. Simple and not that much weight added.
My kit was from "It's A Snap".
