On my Dart I used an Ultrabell and a short Lofgren blanket.

If you use the ultra bell, you'll only need to cover the trans. You can use a blanket.
Two things....Its a street car mostly, and trapped heat is bad.
Second, when it absorbs all the trans oil, it leaks it everywhere...Already been down that road once.
Got a blanket that only covers the very top of the trans up to the edge of the bell, I might consider it, maybe. I do not need one that covers the whole trans, the linkage, the cable and the whole back of the engine, and then for extra safety, wraps around the bottom of the trans too...Its like a bed spread instead of just covering the min required.

Ultra bell and stroud blanket here
So the ultra Bell eliminates the need for a FLEX PLATE SHIELD? But you still need a TRANS SHIELD for 9.99 and quicker? I agree with Dragula not a fan of blankets When it's cold enough to need a blanket, the Barracuda is in the garage. Don
