Anyone know the overall length of the over center clutch pedal spring for a 66-70 B-body? Mine is loose when the pedal is all the way down so I am thinking it is the wrong spring. Mine is 7 7/8" outside and 7 1/8" inside.
TIA

While you got your OC spring off make sure to inspect the pin (especially the rear)that the spring rides on.

My Challenger's clutch pedal made all kinds of creeks and groans during it's travel...this is what my OC spring pin looked like.

Mine was worn on the other side like yours, but someone turned it around and welded it in with some bird poop looking welds.
Talked with Jamie Passon as he is nearby and a great guy to deal with. New pin on the way. Looks like I will be scrapping the old brackets and putting everything else in a spare setup I have.
Spring seems to be the correct one after I checkd my 66 Hemi, and Jamie also confirmed.
Thanks Jamie
