Did Mopar make a rear spoiler from the factory, as an option, in 66/67 for the charger? I have a guy on eBay trying to sell me one, and i dont think they ever made them. thanx. scott

...if it is an original, they are made of CAST aluminun, not extruded. Plus there was 3 versions of the NASCAR piece, late 66 production(May to June or July) trunk blade only: early 67 production, trunk blade and "short" 1/4 piece( only as wide as the roof profile): balance of 67, trunk blade and long 1/4 piece(full 6 inches of 1/4 piece. They are shown in the May supplement of the 1966 Dodge parts book, on the rear body diagram. I have type 2 on my 66 Hemi Charger, it is not original to that car, but it is an original piece. I bought a complete car in 79 or 80 to get the spoiler. They could be purchased over the counter after all the NASCAR teams were supplied.

I'm lost in the 60's and DAMN proud of it.
