Excellent, Thank you
Just one question what do I need to use to losen the fasteners with?
Thanks
Preferrably a wrench, either 3/8 or 7/16 box or open end Jack that rascal up with the rear end off the ground and put it on some good, stable jack stands and the front tires lower than the rear tires if you want to jack the front end up also so the tranny fluid won't drain ot the back of the tranny. Look at the bolts, some came with the 3/8 and some have been replaced with 7/16 headed bolts Caution on putting the drivesjaft and rear U joint back into the pinion yoke, most stock 1968 Mopars came with Detroit type U joints, either 7260 or the larger 7290 size. They both have interior retainers. Make sure the Ujoint is seated all the way into the pinion yoke squarely with both interior retainers seated firmly against the inside of the pinion yoke before reinstalling the restaining straps The restraining straps are only meant to keep the Ujoint cups from front to rear movement, not designed or intended to take any side loading while in motion, the pinion yoke does that on the rear Good luck BTW, why are you wanting to take the drive shaft out?
Mr.Cab Racing and winning with Mopars since 1964. (Old F--t, Huh)

I only came on here to ask about removing a drive shaft, and what tools I would need to do the job, so I could be prepared as I only have the weekends to work on my car. I'm sure i'm not the first person to ask nor the last, after all this is what the forum is for, is it not? I've never had issues asking questions before in the MOPAR community, People go out their way to help, I would do the same if I could help someone, but there is always some pricks out there I guess, and I would appreciate those with negative comments to stay out of my threads, as I despise people like you. Those that helped me out, Thank you very much i pulled the drive shaft out on Sunday with you're help. Thanks again
