It might have been NOS , but with this part number PN P4529805 , it was NOS from the 90's ....

on the original numbers thing, i am trying to keep it as original as i can - so taking the electric fuel pump as an example, that is the way the car came - if it weren't there, i wouldn't have added it - but i am not racing to undo do it and put it back to bone stock - little, by little - on the brakes, i just rebuilt them and keep them drums all the way around just the way they came - with the master cylinder, i put the the 67 mc in because it is 2 stage and so for safety if i lose one set of brakes i have the other - that is kind of the philosophy - in terms of what i got, the car is pretty much stock (but with the odd exception (like the fuel pump))

Chrysler sells replacement filters(or was) a couple years ago with a 34XXXXX pn  I bought a case or two. They are gray in color.. If your interested in one let me know(pm).. Fred

You aren't going to find an original filter unless you look on places like ebay , there you may run across a 40 yr old filter for $1500,. Me , the last thing I would do is put a 40 yr old filter on anything that is going to be running.

For reference, the "8A" crosses to a Wix 51515/NAPA Gold 1515 (same filter). Hastings is good also.

If you like your motor DO NOT use Fram filters. They are inferior at best.
