All year my car kept getting quicker for some reason with no changes being made. It started the season running 7.30s in the 1/8. every week it would go a little quicker. Well tonight the last Tuesday / test and tune for the year the car went a 6.97 with a 1.47 60 foot @ 96 mph. Finally made it to the 6s.

Is weather a factor? How about the motor breaking in and making more power Where you tuning it or testing things on the car like tire pressure, shift points and starting line stall speed?

I didn't change a thing on the car. The engine I built about 5 years ago. The weather didn't seem to matter, a few weeks ago it was 80s out and it ran a 7.06. I have tried shifting it at 4,800 to 7,200 and it still would run the same times. Not sure why it keeps going faster but im happy.

Sounds good... maybe less humidity? better traction? Picking up 3 tenths in the 1/8 is huge.
