My new convertor for the cart is about .002 larger than the Crank register. It looks as though I should be able to clean it up and make it work without shipping a converter back.
Tootsie roll the crank register a bit?
I mean it will fit but its Tight.
And not in the good way!

(1) Not sure if I'd want to polish the register or the nub but if one had any burrs etc that'd be the one I'd pick & I'd wanna keep it as concentric as I could. (2) Stay focused on the vehicle, keeps Mr Murphy away

I would not tootise roll the crank register , but that's just me.

the big question is what part is the wrong size , the crank or the convertor ?

That was my first thought too. Yes I think I'd carefully work on the nub & leave the register alone

What motor and crank, stock or stroker, are you having the troubles with?

Unless it's a brand new aftermarket crank, it likely was mated to a converter before so the register isn't the problem.

Stock Forged.
I polished the nub and the register with emery cloth and she fits fine now.
Thought it was going to be a bigger deal than it was.
Everything is peachy!
Thanks !
