Nope, all you have are the last 8 digits of the VIN#. Based on the 9/16 assembly date It's from a mid Sept/Early Oct 1970 built engine that went into a 1971 model year car. That's about all you can get from what you posted. Enter it in the Lost & Found section, maybe someone will get lucky and find thier original #'s matching block!

Like Scott said, without the full VIN you'll never really know unless the car surfaces. It's from the STL plant so it came from a B body (Charger-Road Runner-GTX)

The VIN indicates an SPD of 928

O.K., Thanks for the info guys. I bought the shortblock from my machine shop awhile back and had him put a max wedge top end on it for my 63. Curiosity made me wonder if there was a way to tell what it had come from.
