440newport OP master Joined: Jan 2003 Posts: 4,588 St. John's Newfoundland	I need a truck oil pan for a LA 360. I have access to a few newer 360 magnum trucks, but will the pan from one of those fit an LA style timing cover? Or does a magnum pan only fit a magnum cover?

Andrewh master A Joined: Feb 2003 Posts: 8,672	I can't say for sure, but I used an la pan on a mag and it bolted up just fine. can't see why it wouldn't work the other way. the only catch is the gasket had to match the pan. at least going the la pan on a mag, it would leave a gap. would guess the la gasket with a mag pan would be too much gasket.
