Was the auto trans or converter different on the AAR or TA compared to other 340 cars?

FWIW, the 1970 parts book lists the same convertor but different transmissions.

I had one of those transmissions at one time. Nothing special as I recall. Just like the regular 340 tranny. But the numbers stamped on it were specific to an AAR. It's all about those numbers.

Supposedly they are different, the t/a trannys have 4 pin planetary gears. I have never seen the inside of one however.
