My KB 280's (400 block/6.76 rods/440 crank) are that way but I'm not anticipating an issue from that (not together yet)

Do all 451 stroker pistons used with a 440 rod have the oil control ring partially into the wrist pin hole??
Depends on the piston , A KB hyper , as RR has , has a wide ring spacing between the top and second ring , couple that with a Chrysler pin of 1.09 and you can have a pin in the oil rings . Use a piston with a .990 pin and you shouldn't have an issue.
FYI the same piston , 1.320 CH is used for with a 3.75 stroke , 3.9 stroke and 4.25 stroke low deck, just use a piston with a .990 pin and chose the correct rod length.
