or on the cheap, keep the resonators in the back, and eliminate the mufflers under the floor....

That was the first thing I thought of. Can't you go in the dash menu and turn it off?
The droan is very common with the MDS equipped cars when replacing/modifying factory exhaust.
The better $$$ aftermarket Cat Back systems usually have mufflers and rear resonators to eliminate the droan problem.
I believe it takes an aftermarket programmer, (like a Predator), to turn the MDS off.

When you use autostick MDS is off but you can still have drone at certain speeds. Borla and Mopar sell the $$$ system that has no drone.
