That was a nice advertising side step of everything I asked except where it was made.

He said they were made in the US, not China.

C'mon Man!

I have nothing to do with this product, just simply cut and paste from their site.

Sorry, didn't mean to sound so stiff. The pit falls of being on a computer instead of talking. My comment about airflow is just thinking out loud, and not just their filter, but all of them, even the originals. But the joint I referred to was correct. Nice that they are made here. Are these the same ones that are on ebay?

I think you will find they are all the same!

This probably would not be cost effective for a seller of these filters but man it sure would be nice to click on the item with the 3D rotation deal for the actual filter being purchased. I could see ever inch of it before purchase. THAT would be nice. I guess only in a perfect world.

There would either be no purchases, or no returns.

Will you be making filters for 318 cars and slant six cars?

We are currently working on several different projects, and are interested in any input on "unobtainable" fiters out there for our next reproduction project. If you send me a PM with your contact info we can certainly discuss it in more detail.

Maybe you could make a Six Pack/Air Grabber style filter that you could disassemble and replace just the element.

$125 is a lot of money for a throw away air filter

Actually, this concept has already been attempted, most notably by GM. The project failed miserably as marketing showed that the consumer viewed this type of "swap out pack" as a "cheap looking" alternative, and gave the trust level on the product a very low rating. The concept was quickly abandoned.

While $125 is expensive, if you have any late model specialty car (Corvette), the current air filters can get pricey and that is not for a $40 year old car.

I paid about the same for performance air filters for my MB AMG.

While $125 for an air filter seems expensive, it is all relative. Restoration. High performance. Daily driver. What are you willing to pay for a good quality product?
It would be great to go into my local (insert favorite auto parts store) and purchase a new FRAM CA332v. I tried that several years ago. No luck any where. Some people had luck and were able to find from some hidden warehouse.
This priced filter might not be for everyone. It sure beats a $3-400 NOS air filter from the auction site.
Will it out-perform (air flow through the paper element) a comparable high performance one (K&N $65), I don't know. Maybe someone can test air flow through different filters.
