My wifes 05 Town & Country mini vans power sliding door stops mid way thru its cycle. It doesnt matter if you are trying to open or close it. It just stops about a foot short from being closed. I have checked the upper and lower tracks for obstructions and found nothing. Is there a way to reset this? Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Can you still close it manually?

Been real common problems with the lower wiring harness tracks

Yes, It will open and close manually with no binding or extra force needed.

The wiring in the lower track channel is known to be a problem. Ohm test end to end, real easy to do. I replace about 10 a month. The harness has a tag with the part number on it for easy ordering at your local dealership.

Ok, will do. Whats a rough price on it? Figures I was just at the dealer a few days ago. The other sliding door needed a new power door lock actuator.

My wife's '08 T&C had the same problem. It turned out to be a computer thing. They were overly sensitive and were adjusted by computer program by the dealership tech.

Now that you mention it. When we first got the van we had a similar problem. I thought they said it was a soft ware issue at that time.

Our '05 driver side sliding door takes a lot of effort to manually open or close. Would this be the same issue as above?

Correct...08 up RT body vans have had issues with sensitivity and is compounded by poor adjustments, The current flash appears to have cured it.
This is a totaly different issue than the RS body vans which are notorious for wiring track broken wires, don`t attempt to try to fix it, the stiffness of the repair will just make it break either side of it.
The part number tag as mentioned above is behind the B pillar trim about 2 inches from the connector.

Nope...that is the clutch in the drive motor not releasing and is only repairable by replacing the drive motor itself. (located at the bottom of the door under the trim panel.
