Depending on who you buy them from, they should have a pre cut glass qtr window angle guide to the decal backing for A, B, or E body application, so that it's a no guessing application

I'd recommend ECS for your decals

if you got to "rough it" with some generic bee decals, maybe this will help

Did '71's still even get 1/4 window bees though?

FWIW, the parts book shows the bees for Challengers only in '71. Of course in '70 they are shown for Challenger/Dart/Coronet/Charger.

Thanks guys!! Don't know why I keep thinking it's a 71 cause it's a 70!! I got the licensed bees so I hope it has the cut corner. Going to look at a 71 convertible next week. Maybe that it what is clouding my mind(or what's left of it).

Thanks,
Bob

I do think the bees are the exception rather than the rule on '71 Challengers, but I always like to put them on.

Even have a set to go on the new SRT8....

Where did you get your bee from?? The piece of crap I got won't release from the clear plastic backing. Unless they expact me to leave the big square plastic backing on?? Or am I doing something wrong.

Thanks,
Bob

The originals had a clear backing around them as well but was a shadow maybe 1/8" around the bee. I would just trim the repros like that. I have a set of the repros on my 05 truck and I was too lazy to trim them so they have the big square surrounding the bee.

I suppose I could do that but now that ones is attached to the window... hopefully someone will chime in with a good supplier. The rest of the car is coming out soo good I hate to have a small detail part like that look like a blind monkey cut it out for me!!

Thanks,
Bob

Thanks "Floyd"!! I am about a week away from putting on the nameplates you did for me. This little stuff to find is what drives you nuts! Looks like I will have to adjust the cut/alignment angle, but THAT cutting even I can do!!!

Thanks,
Bob

The repro bees I've seen come two ways. One is like yours, which is a square plastic border and is part of the actual decal. I bought mine 10 years ago, and mine came pre-trimmed to the exact shape of the bee. They look a lot better trimmed. I don't remember where I bought mine.

Sounds like you have the ones with the clear square border. i would take a small pair of precision scissors and trim them before applying them to the window.
