Is this thing original or an aftermarket thing? It is about 3 inches tall and was mounted on the rear housing of my 69 road runner. It was under the passenger rear bumbstop. It looks like the spring is broken, so I don't know how long it was originally. Thanks!!!

I thought it was some voodoo traction thing. it's been on there since i got the car, 1989. I'm gonna clean it up and put it back on... just because i can.

My 65 D100(8&3/4) had one(2) that looked identical even to the broken spring.
