I started my other race car after a two year hibernation and had it running about 10 minutes just started to get some temp into it and decided to put it in gear.tried reverse and nothing so I tried first and nothing and that's when I realized I drained the fluid when I parked it. So I shut it off and add 6 qts of fluid seems to shift fine . My question is did I do any damage runnin without fluid? Thx it's a 727 with only about 10 passes on it

Naa... its not like it was slipping... you didnt have
any fluid to cause a slip... the only thing might have
been the pump but it unlikely

X2,
Probably enough oil in the pump to keep it lubed as long as it wasn't running forever. Most likely couldn't make any pressure so the clutch packs may be ok.
Would have been in more trouble if there was some fluid in the pan sufficient enough to develop some pressure and drive the car only to suck it dry under accel/decel and slip the clutches under power.
