Hey gang...
Where, typically, is the turn signal flasher located on a 71 Challenger? I'm trying to trouble shoot and for the life of me, I can't find the flasher and/or the red/black dual wire connection.......

Is this it? Near the bulkhead connector? This is a picture from a 'Cuda... Not sure if Challengers and 'Cudas are the same...... and if years matter.......

Cheers,
Troy

Mine lives in a special clip up under the dash just beneath the ashtray. Not sure if that is the correct original location though.

Same in the 1971-1974 B-body. You should be able to remove the ashtray receiver with 3 screws. Once out, there is a clip that holds the flasher you want but it may have fallen out. Either way, you should be able to reach in there and access what you need.

The flasher you have pictured by the bulkhead is the emergency flasher.

Ahhhhhhh, then that explains why the emergency flashers don't work either....... Lordy........ I feel like a dork..... I put the dash in this car 9 years ago to help my buddy, then he stopped cold. I haven't been under there in all that time, but spending the last nearly year getting the rest of the car back together. Now I'm working on gremlins.....

Thanks.... Hopefully I have the same issue with the turn signals...
