The OD833 used the 10.5" clutch and the NP435 used the 11" clutch. Both trannys do share the same 1"x23 spline input shaft.
I am truckless..

It gets a little confusing.
A 130 tooth flywheel uses a 130 tooth bellhousing to get the starter to mesh. The most common size clutch for this is 10.5", although there is a 10.95" disk and plate that bolt on and give more torque capacity.
The 143 tooth setup uses an 11" clutch, usually the same disk (but not plate) as the 10.95.
The 11" pressure plate bolt pattern is used for either diaphragm or Borg&Beck types. These have six evenly spaced holes. Neat thing about this is the 11" B&B pattern is also the 12" B&B pattern. I installed a 12" pressure plate on my 11" B&B flywheel recently. It bolts right up. For a clutch disk I used a NOS Schiefer 11.5" disk that had the correct 1 1/8" 10-spline for the input shaft on my transmission.
You do have to match the clutch disk with the spline size and count, plus the OD. It's OK if the clutch disk is a little smaller, but not if it's a little bigger!
If you're drag racing or road racing, the smaller diameter flywheel is easier to accelerate or decelerate, and the smaller diameter clutch disk is easier on the synchronizers.
For my truck that may pull a load, I like the larger clutch size if I can find it. So my '77ford $500 truck is now sporting a 12" clutch, and my '64Dog will be running the 11.5" setup from above.
R.
PS: the 11 and 12 inch Diaphragms and B&Bs are the same for Chrysler products and Chevy trucks. There is currently a 12" B&B pressure plate on the 'Bay for $29.95, rebuilt, listed for chevy truck. If I didn't have mine already I'd be all over that.

You can't figure out how to count the teeth on a flywheel?
Against my better judgement I wrote an answer to your question, that together with the one above it should have got you on your way.
But as usual it wasn't good enough.
Goodbye.
you speakum to fass, use too big ofum words.. hell-o ![](/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/shruggy.gif)
I noticed that with my 130 tooth v-6 flywheel the other day.
I got the 11"-19 spline disc & PP for a 92 5.2 nv4500 2x truck.
the 88-v6 D-100 truck 130 tooth flywheel had a 10.5-23 spline disc & pp
fly wheel has both set of bolt holes.
**I was thinking it was 11" but if you say there is a 10.95 disc with a 15.95 PP that must be what i have. ![](/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/shruggy.gif)
I mocked it up and noticed the larger bolt pattern worked for my nv4500 clutch set up..
