Hello A friend gave me a converter from a car that he just got and he is going to put a stock one back in, It looks like a 10" unpainted .Has this on it G17006X .I e-mail converters of Ohio .But is not one of his. Can any one help me ???? Thanks me e-mail is (mosweethemi@yahoo.com)

GER is junk!

If your friend pulled it out to put the stock one back in,that speaks for itself right there. If your gonna change your converter make it a good one.

I ran a GER Years ago and if I remember right it lasted 3 runs at the local track.
I sent it back to them and to make a long story short, I told them to keep it!
Dont bother using it unless you need practice R & R ing your trans!!

HELLO I had e-mail GER and they told me that it was not a GER Converter that they painted them red. This one is not painted. The car that it came in the engine was blow up and did not run. so my friend is putting in a rebuilt engine and transmission , I help him get a stock converter so he gave me this one. Thanks for helping !

GER is still in business ? and by the way, i have a brand new GER unit still in the box from around '82 or so, and it is NOT painted.... it says on the box : "no higher quality converter can be purchased at any price"
