Some say yes, some say no. Which is it?

Throwing in a Sure-Grip center section later today. Went to get some gear oil and ended up getting Lucas Oil 75-90 Synthetic stuff that says it's good to go for a limited-slip and already has the additive in it.

What's the scoop, guys? Thanks!

Been doing it for around 15 years.
Never an issue.
