36dodge OP member 3 Joined: Mar 2013 Posts: 58 NH	My 37 Dodge 1937 truck was setup for a 340 or 360 auto using blocks prior to 1989 models. Now due to availability recently fame across 1989 1/2 ton auto truck. Is the 89 setup the same blick size? Really do not want relocate mts? Can i swap out fuel injection fow carb? etc..

As for the fuel injection, you need an intake as well as a carb and you need to put in a distributor that has mechanical and vacuum advance in place of the locked computer controlled distributor in the 89. If you feel ambitious you could probably replace the computer with a Megasquirt setup and keep the original FI and ignition, letting the Megasquirt run it. You may also wish to consider putting a cam in it as the factory cam is very mild. They say there are no such thing as a stupid question. They say there is always the exception that proves the rule.
