My 37 Dodge 1937 truck was setup for a 340 or 360 auto using blocks prior to 1989 models.
Now due to availability recently fame across 1989 1/2 ton auto truck.
Is the 89 setup the same blick size? Really do not want relocate mts?
Can i swap out fuel injection fow carb? etc..

360's didn't change mounts till the Magnums came out, so it should swap over. As for the fuel injection, you need an intake as well as a carb and you need to put in a distributor that has mechanical and vacuum advance in place of the locked computer controlled distributor in the 89.

If you feel ambitious you could probably replace the computer with a Megasquirt setup and keep the original FI and ignition, letting the Megasquirt run it.

You may also wish to consider putting a cam in it as the factory cam is very mild.

They say there are no such thing as a stupid question.
They say there is always the exception that proves the rule.
Don't be the exception.
