Fasbird OP master Joined: Sep 2003 Posts: 4,912 The Dark Side	Had TTIs and was a bear for the linkage clearance. Any better headers or a opinion on a shorty header setup??? Going to build a 490-ish stroker with EB heads. Running a 6-pak setup too. Any thoughts?

an8sec70cuda I Live Here Joined: Jan 2003 Posts: 13,492 Marion, South Carolina [><]	Have a set of 1 7/8" primary Hooker Competition (NOT super comps) headers on my dad's '69 road runner. 440-6 w/ a 4 speed. Fit great around all the 4 speed stuff. Had to massage the primaries around the torsion bars though. They sit a little too far apart on the car and rub the bars. CHIP '70 hemicuda, 575" Hemi, 727, Dana 60 '69 road runner, 440-6, 4 speed, Dana 60 '71 Demon 340, no drivetrain, on blocks behind the barn '73 Chrysler New Yorker, 440, 727, 8.75 '90 Chevy 454SS Silverado, 476" BBC, TH400, 14 bolt '06 GMC 2500HD LBZ Duramax

Not sure how they'd work w/ the angled plugs but I'm running the Hooker 2" super comps and they fit great, went in easier than the old 1 3/4"'s. (these are 2 piece).
