I thought the groove types were signified by codes on the key?

I just odered a set for my 67 GTX from theses folks. The ones from the hardware store don't fit without a bunch of grinding on the sides and the slots. I sent them the original key codes from the owners manual, I hope the locks havent been changed.

The keys showed up in the mail today. They fit and work great.
The key that I got when I bought the car is a pentastar that would operate the ingnition , but would not fit into the door locks. The new key fits both. The slots are longer and wider.
