No, its not the norm. My original window 70 A/C car has only the airtemp sticker on the passenger side rear quarter window.
You could be right, the picture I have is of a car that was used in an old 1971 TV show, and if I recall it's a 70 car made to look like a new 71.
What do the rest of you think?

I'd like to hear from more original owners on this. Did A/C cars get one Bee or two? Pictures of the decal placement would help when both the Bee and Airtemp decal are on the same window. The problem is that it's too easy to add or remove these things on restored cars. Let's hear from more people who were there or see factory pix.

Did 340 Chalengers get them at all? The windows in my 340 car appear to be original (well, the ones that are still left that is). My car does not have Scat Pack Bees. Of course they could have been removed at some time. Or maybe cars with same color bumble bees stripes didn't get them either. ;-)

We had a '69 Dart when I was a kid. Don't remember if it had 1 or 2 mirrors but I do remember the Scat Pack stickers.

The 1971 Challenger convertible I'm restoring has them, and they look pretty darn original to me...Same condition as Terry's photo. And it's a non-R/T 340 car

I sold the car in 81. I dont recall the production date. However I believe the 383 was the smallest engine option offered on the 71 R/T Challenger. The 340 was not offered on the R/T until later in the year.

Interesting stuff guys. My car is a 318 3 spd car originally but has many options that a 340 car would have had. It was an ordered car. It has 2 Bee stickers in the rear 1/4 windows. The Driverside looks original but the passenger side Bee sticker was added by the previous owner because he wanted the car to have 2. I'm guessing the one that looks original must have been added back in the day because it would not have come like that from the factory...would it? Joe

The "CRANE CAMS" decals are not original to the car & there is NO evidence of the "AIRTEMP" decal on the passenger 1/4 window. Maybe it was cleanly/carefully removed in the past. I'll have to search for razor scratches & check the glass date codes.
